Our daughter, Annalese, was adopted at the age of 9 months from Stravropol in 2002. She has had attachment issues which have cause tantrums in past. Now that she is maturing she has found a different way to help with the "pain" of being adopted and not knowing her birth mother. She has started to We have been very open with the information we were given concerning her background--the birth mom's age, name, and that the woman had given birth to other babies. We made sure that there were none of her siblings in the orphanage--it would have been very hard not adopt them too. Going back to Annalese and dealing with her pain, she has started using sharp objects to cut her arms. We are very concerned about her drastically hurting herself. She has stated that she is hurt because her mother gave her up but did not abandon her siblings. We do not know if that is true or where the other children are. We had no information concerning her biological father. Hoping you are able to help in some way.
